Joseph (Joe) Kasouf began his career in 1990 as a lawyer for the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, one of the largest the largest auto, property, and casualty insurers in the world. He handled cases involving automobile wrecks, premises liability, intentional torts, fire claims, theft claims, homeowner’s claims, insurance bad faith, and coverage disputes. While at Nationwide, he rose to the position of Chief Counsel with significant responsibility for all aspects of corporate litigation and finance of the legal team.
His extensive experience with the insurance industry was pivotal in the development of a highly successful career. Most recently, Joe has formed his latest adventure, Kasouf Tucker Law. Founded on his passion for representing the needs of injured persons against formidable opponents as well as his determination to win for his clients. Joe’s primary goal is to make a difference in the lives of his clients. His knowledge and contacts with the premier law firms throughout the United States allow for a “national” team of lawyers available to represent clients needs in many different practice areas with a creative and passionate approach providing each one with the very best legal representation available. He has vast experience with understanding not only your individual case but how cases throughout the United States are valued. This experience of over 28 years uniquely qualifies him to represent clients on a national level and your individual case.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and, the American Association for Justice.
Joe is a graduate of Syracuse University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication, cum laude, a Master of Science in Speech Communication and a Juris Doctor. He is proud to be a national speaker on many topics over his years of practice, including, Electronic Discovery Cost Management, Law Firm Financing, and Mass Torts.
Originally from Syracuse, NY, Joe currently resides in Columbus, OH. He is happily married to his wife, Nancy, of 41 years; together they have three children. He is actively involved in several charities including the Mikey’s Way Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Peace for Paws, and, Capital Humane Association. Joe and his family share a love for animals and continue to rescue those animals who have been abused or abandoned.
